• Residency: Must be a resident of Toronto and receiving financial assistance from Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program, or Emergency Assistance for migrants under humanitarian authorization.
• Income Requirement: Total accommodation costs must be within 85% of the monthly income.
• Verification: Clients must provide all necessary documentation to assess eligibility.
• Reimbursement Policy: No reimbursements for expenses paid before the request.
• Assessment Requirements: Rental or energy arrears assessments require ongoing pay direct.
• Funding Limit: Clients must not have reached the maximum funding for the current year. The exception is for soft furniture, encasements, or beds for bed bugs which can only be issued once every 24 months.

• Housed and Relocating: Due to domestic violence, fire/flood, or a change in family size.
